How many grams of tape hair will I need to buy for my desired length?

You should know that the amount of hair you need to buy depends on your hair length and thickness and also the desired outcome. There is no exact science to it, but as a guide, please read our recommendations below.

18’’ length, you will need from 90g-120g (3-4 packs)

20’’ length, you will need 120g-150g (4-5 packs)

22’’length, you will need 150g-210g (4-5 packs)

Can I wash and style my hair the same as my natural hair?

Yes! You may wash, dry, and style your new Hair Extensions as you would your natural hair. Just make sure to use Salon Quality products and ALWAYS use heat protector when styling with a blow dryer or irons. This will protect your investment and keep the hair looking beautiful longer. Keep heat away from bond area on the tape in weft to avoid damage to bonds. Do not use conditioner or highly moisturizing shampoo on your scalp as it may affect the adhesive between your tapes. Use conditioner from mid-shaft to ends instead. Use a deep moisturizing mask at least once a month- keeping mask away from bonds. Sleeping with your hair in a loose braid is recommended.

When brushing your hair, hold your hair at the top with one hand and brush with the other to take stress off your natural hair inside the bond area. This will prevent you from ripping out your new extensions.

HELP!!! My Tape-ins slipped out the first time I washed my hair! What's wrong?!?

Too much hair between tapes. Hair between the tapes should be equally as wide as the tape area bond and paper thin. With our tape, if used properly, your extensions will never slip out...rip out...possibly. Slip? Nope!

*Please do not wash your Tape-in Hair Extensions for 24 to 48 hours after installation to give the bonds time to adhere. Between wash 1&3, your hair will "fluff" and become thicker and fuller than it was pre-shampoo
